Dr. Mano Patri, MD - is a St. Louis Native who trained at Rush University Hospital in Chicago where she completed her residency in Internal Medicine and her Chief year along with her Infectious Diseases Fellowship and Chief year. She is a Board Certified physician who practiced 5 years in private practice before moving back to St. Louis where she currently is in private practice for Infectious Diseases. She is now an Infection Prevention Medical Director for SSM St. Joseph Lake St. Louis, Depaul Hospital and St. Louis University along with being a part of the SSM System Infectious Diseases team that works with system Antibiotic Stewardship, Infection Prevention team , Infectious Diseases physicians and the Microbiology division. She also serves as the Medical Director for the St. Charles County Department of Health.
She is an active member of the Infectious Diseases Society of America and The Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America. She is a mom of 3 humans and 1 dog and wife of 1 husband.
Dr. Steven P. Laffey, MD - is a board-certified pediatrician and pediatric emergency medicine specialist with a longstanding commitment to excellence in pediatric care. He earned his medical degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine and completed both his residency and fellowship training at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital, where he continues to serve in multiple leadership roles.
As Professor of Pediatrics and Director of Emergency Department Clinical Operations, Dr. Laffey plays a pivotal role in shaping clinical practice and advancing emergency care for children. He also serves as the Medical Director for the STARS (Special Needs Tracking and Awareness Response System) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) programs, reflecting his dedication to improving outcomes for critically ill and medically complex pediatric patients.
